Desiree Huey Obituary, Death –  Alameda residents received tragic news as a missing woman, Desiree “Lisa” Huey, aged 52, was found deceased near the Bay Farm Island Bridge on a fateful Tuesday afternoon. Huey had been missing for three days prior to the discovery, marking a sorrowful end to the search.

A bicyclist crossing the Bay Farm Island Bridge first spotted a person in the water at approximately 1 p.m. on Tuesday and promptly alerted the authorities. Alameda police Lt. Alan Kuboyama confirmed that Desiree Huey was identified by the Alameda County coroner as the woman found in the water near the bridge.
